If you're interested in my work as Assistant Professor at Oslo College, Faculty of Journalism, Library and Information Science, please look up my professional home page. I teach basic computer skills, data modelling, web publishing, and classification theory. Since September 1994, I've been involved in developing a Dominican presence on the Internet. I'm now serving as OP Internet Coordinator until May 1997, working in a team with the fab four friars Peter Hunter (Oxford), Reid Perkins-Buzo (Chicago), Jorge Arturo Chaves (Heredia) and Rémi Chenó (Paris). Working on this project is my primary activity as a professed lay Dominican - a Christian dedicated to studying, living and communicating the received wisdom of the Church, doing so in the tradition and community of the Order of Preachers. The reason for my interest and involvement is basically that I want a good life for myself, my family and friends and all other people. So... what's a good life, and how can we best live those lives together? That's the question... |
