National sovereignty does not include a right to do wrong! In most countries justice is practiced the way it is pronounced: just us! "My country right or wrong" is a cop out promoted by criminals trying to hide behind nationalism, the proper conduct is a loyalty to rights respecting people everywhere! (Outlaw enough liberties and you will silence half the population and get enough fabricated claims to have the rest arrested or deported!) There is no justification for continuing to treat aliens the way the Germans treated them! No country has the right to arrest or deport visaless aliens or to place us in concentration camps! And it is just a question of time before the culprits will be brought to justice! A nation that does not respect entrepreneurial liberty does not deserve to survive, and won't either! On the world scene, the surest way to become a second hand nation and just another participant that also ran, is to deport those who fight for your survival! It is amazing that some people want tourists and temporary workers but not immigrants; after all, immigrants form the backbone for our scientific and technological progress, and thus for the growth in our defense and standard of living, while tourists do not work, and provide mostly low paying service jobs, and temporary workers build little or no loyalty, and take their wit(s) with them when they leave! If we don't respect the right of aliens to settle in this country, those (citizens and aliens among us) who still try to create value here. will have our value creation hampered, and won't take root or be as productive as we otherwise would. Immigrants are no threat to anyone's rights, government is. Ideally I think everyone who is not violent, qualify to be free, and that government officials better start respecting Universal Liberty, while they still have a choice! Honest rights respecting individuals dealing with one another by mutual consent, are of benefit to one another, and it is something warped or deliberately evil about anyone who claims that honest rights respecting people somehow are an illegal threat; after all, we are only a threat to rights violating criminals! If you have to ask for permission to be free you are not really free in the first place! If you have to ask for permission to be free you are not becoming free. If you continually have to ask or have permission to stay free, you are not really free either! Free men do not ask for permission to be free! Free men do not ask for permission before they exercise their rights or before they do what others have no right to deny them in the first place! Whenever local autonomy violates individual autonomy, the latter is justified in preempting the former! When in Rome, civilize the Romans! Employees and employers do not have a right to keep a job or a business, in spite of hell and high water, or other better, honest competition. If you are afraid that honest immigrants might beat you in the job market, then the solution is to put in place enough checks and balances to prevent you from ever usurping the power to do anything dishonest about it! There should at least be some place where individuals still can be free. Many people, however, seem to think that place should be somewhere else, like abroad, or in jail! There is no justification for jailing aliens for being born abroad, instead we should start jailing those who have been jailing aliens! Illegal aliens, are neither! There are people out here who still equate liberty with being undocumented, and who are not willing to apply for or carry, "no damn" social security number, work permit, passport, visa or I.D! Visaless, yes! Illegal, no! Let us create a society where no one is alien but those who label others alien! Let us create a society where anyone who comes here, and who wants to become a citizen, and who unilaterally makes a declaration to that effect, automatically is a full-fledged citizen, without the need for anyone's approval or permission, and without losing (or having to delegate) any rights in the process. And so that no one can revoke a citizenship but the individual citizen itself and only through a voluntary declaration to that effect! Freedom hasn't always been illegal! (And more important:) Freedom will not always be illegal! On behalf of visaless aliens anywhere, let it be known that all we want is to be free to do our best by honest means in entrepreneurial liberty and among equally free men and women, anywhere!
