How to restore TMP if a web site closes some of TMP's windows (e.g. its wide display).
1. To preempt problems open TMP from a shortcut, bookmark or address line. And do not erase the opening window. Then the website might show up in the latter.
2. If the website shows up in the first opened window that was used to load TMP, a) try clicking on that window's arrow for going back to its previous content, or b) right click on the window and left click on "Back", and TMP will reload correctly.
3. If the web site that closed some of TMP's windows, does not show up, try closing all windows, then reloading TMP (not from the TMP button but from a short cut, book mark or the address line with the address to TMP.html or index.html, and) without closing the opening window.
4.Then open the website again, and if this shows up in the opening window, then follow the instructions in step 1.
5. If the top menu is still visible you can reopen all TMP's windows from it. e.g. by selecting the option that opens all TMP's windows.
6. Or you can reopen TMP's windows by clicking on any of the links to TMP/Trygve's Meta Portal in any of the remaining windows.
7.Most of the time you can just reopen the display window by selecting another option from the same menu bar.
8.If the web page shows up in the bar, button or top window, you could enlarge this window to look at the web page, before either a) right clicking on the window and left clicking on "Back" to return that window to its original function or b) closing that window and using one of the other options mentioned here to reopen all TMP's windows.
9. If necessary close all windows and reload TMP from any shortcut, bookmark or address line.
Dear visitor, please let me Trygve Bauge, know how I can .....
1a.How can I open a html file in a new window of a specific size and location without calling it from a html file in another window, so that it opens correctly when people bookmark it and opens it from the bookmark, from a shortcut or from an address line?
1b.How can I set a file's size and position on the screen from a style sheet called from the file itself?
2.How can I automatically bring older windows (windows that already are opened) to the forefront when I open files in these by clicking on links in other windows?
